Josh Buchan crowned TCR Australia champion

A season-long battle with HMO Customer Racing Hyundai teammate, Bailey Sweeny resulted in Josh Buchan claiming a maiden Supercheap Auto TCR Australia title.

The fight went right down to the final weekend of the year at Supercheap Auto Bathurst International, where alongside Kumho TCR World Tour, Buchan held his composure and took full advantage of what was a disastrous weekend for Sweeny.

Buchan would go on to win the title by 50 points ahead of reigning champion, Tony D’Alberto while Sweeny would eventually settle for third outright ahead of Aaron Cameron.

Michael Clemente win at Phillip Island and celebrating with family

Michael Clemente took his first ever win in the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series after pulling off a last lap pass on Jordan Cox’s Peugeot to win the reverse top ten encounter.

Clemente forced his way through on the final lap at the Southern Loop as Cox left the door ever so slightly open, bringing his new Cupra Leon home for an emotional win in the marque’s debut weekend.

The post-race celebrations in the Victorian’s camp were certainly some unforgettable scenes.

Talbot publicly unhappy about GT rival’s moves

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS’ Phillip Island round has many memories – one of which Liam Talbot’s spray on live television.

There were some intense battles on track between Talbot and Yasser Shahin throughout the race, which created some tension post-race.

In the final race of the weekend, Talbot was unhappy with a couple of moves from Shahin.
