Shannons SpeedSeries is the best national circuit racing categories on Australia’s best circuits. There’s something for everyone with back-to-back racing all weekend, featuring both professional and grassroots racers.

The event is also designed to be fan friendly, with full access to the racing paddock, including the rear of pit garages as well as free grid walks at events.

Race Sandown will take place at Sandown International Raceway from 9-11 February.

You can come and go as you please throughout the weekend, gates open ahead of each days on-track action, the gate times are as follows:

Friday 9 February 8:00am
Saturday 10 February 8:30am
Sunday 11 February 11:00am

Tickets are on sale now online. We recommend you purchase ahead of time to avoid any delays at the gate. Friday tickets are free and weekend tickets start from $35.

There is no assigned seating for this event, all tickets can access the Grandstand, located on the main straight, the paddock, and general admission viewing areas. Please follow signage and direction from any event staff.

Car
Entry into Sandown Raceway is through the Main Pedestrian Entry, you can enter via Princes Hwy.

Public Transport
Sandown Park Station is located close to Sandown International Raceway, for directions, visit PTV.

There are two options for parking at Race Sandown:

• Park and View is available and included in your ticket purchase, all passengers within the car must have a valid ticket. Park and View can be accessed from Gate 6B.
• General parking is available throughout the circuit, please follow the directions of our event staff and signage throughout the circuit.

There are two grid walks available throughout the weekend, included in all ticket purchases.

There will be racing from four categories throughout the weekend:

• Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series
• National Trans Am Series
• Giti Australian Formula Open
• Australian Production Cars

You can bring your own food and drinks to the venue. There is a range of food and beverage options available for purchase at the venue. Pre-purchased alcohol may not be brought into the circuit without the written permission of circuit management.

There is no age restriction for attendees, free tickets are available for kids under 15.

The Grandstand will provide cover from wet weather, and racing will continue in the rain.

In case of a heavy rain storm, racing may be stopped. But this is unlikely.

Access lifts are located at the rear of the grandstand.

Companion cards are also accepted at this event.
