Tickets for Race Tasmania now available

Tickets for next year’s Race Tasmania are now on sale, with discounted tickets available for purchase.

The second round of the 2024 Shannons SpeedSeries season, the popular event will be held at the Symmons Plains Raceway on 15-17 March.

A number of regular Shannons SpeedSeries categories will be in action at the event, including Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, the National Trans Am Series and the new addition of the Precision National Sports Sedans, which will begin its season in Tasmania for the first time in history.

As Christmas is just around the corner, tickets for the event are the perfect gift for any motorsport enthusiast with an three-day weekend pass for adults just $45 during the current sale period, which concludes in the middle of January.

In addition to the weekend pass, single and two-day tickets, Park and View and Corporate Packages are also on sale and can be purchased here.

The jam-packed race meeting will also once again be supported by Motorsport Tasmania and Events Tasmania after this year saw more than 11,500 people enter the gate across the three days.

Australian Racing Group’s Barry Rogers was excited for what the 2024 edition would bring to the Shannons SpeedSeries.
“Race Tasmania has become one of the major events on the SpeedSeries calendar, and 2024 is going to be spectacular,” Rogers said.

“We focus on providing great entertainment for fans with non-stop track action. Categories such as the incredibly nimble and exciting TCR cars, the V8 powered Trans Am muscle cars that constantly race door to door, and for the first time in decades the noisy, tough and incredibly fast Sports Sedans. All supported by your local heroes as well.

“Bring your family along and enjoy one of the best value days on the Australian Motorsport calendar,” concluded Rogers.

Preceding the Shannons SpeedSeries’ second round will be the season opener at Sandown Raceway in February, where some of the nation’s biggest categories will begin their 2024 campaigns.

Tickets are already on sale for Race Sandown, which takes place on 9-11 February, and can be purchased via motorsporttickets.com.au.
