After finishing third in class at the season-opening round of the Australian Production Car Series, Matt Thewlis and David Bailey return this weekend for Round 3 of the season.
Their Toyota 86 was forced out of the previous round due to work commitments and a much-needed ‘birthday’, with the duo excited ahead of this weekend’s racing.
“It is going to be a busy weekend with four one-hour races, but we can’t wait to get into it,” Thewlis said.
“The Toyota 86 is prepped and ready to go after receiving some much-needed love after what was an epic Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour and our friends at Suspension Concepts have tweaked her up for us ahead of this round as well.
“Dave and I are as ready as we will ever be to tackle this weekend, here is hoping we can make a good show of it for everyone watching at SMSP.”
Thewlis and Bailey will return to the track this Friday, as part of Round 4 of the 2017 Shannons Nationals at Sydney Motorsport Park.
