The schedule for the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championship’s season opener at Phillip Island has been confirmed with all six categories to get plenty of track time.
A number of national categories will take centre stage over the weekend with the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, VHT S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, National Trans Am Series and Motorsport Australia GT Championship all part of the jam-packed bill.
An exciting addition to the line-up, the Victorian based Porsche 944 Challenge are also confirmed to race at the venue, which will be open to spectators.
Tickets are now on sale for the event and all tickets MUST be pre-purchased. Tickets will not be available to purchase at the gate, due to COVID-19 requirements. There is no extra cost for buying online.
Corporate hospitality options are also available, with spectators able to purchase tickets for the Morris Finance Drivers’ Club across both Saturday and Sunday for a luxurious experience at the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships.

Friday’s practice day will be closed off to fans.
All categories will enjoy a similar racing format of multiple practice sessions, qualifying and three races throughout the round, with the Motorsport Australia GT Championship the only exception – the category to have two 60-minute outings.

Fans unable to attend the round will still be able to watch a large portion of the action with Saturday and Sunday to be broadcast live and free on 7plus and 7mate.
As part of a new broadcast deal, New Zealand viewers can tune into the round via Sky New Zealand, while the fans overseas can watch via Motorsport.tv.
The opening round of the 2021 Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships season takes place at Phillip Island on 12-14 March.
