Prototype Series Suits Up With HRX

The Australian Prototype Series has announced a new partnership with the local agents of international motor sport apparel brand, HRX.

HRX Australia will support the 2018 series, via distributors Jam Motorsport, introducing the Italian-made brand to the domestic motor sport apparel market.

Founded in 1996, HRX specialises in manufacturing and marketing of custom, tailor-made race apparel.

Ago Alberghino, Owner and Operator of HRX, was proud to be working within the Australian market.

“We are happy and proud to be a part of Australian motor sport, even though we have been here for such a short time,” Alberghino said.

“In partnering with Australian Prototype series, this will help us learn the market in Australia and will help us in giving the best to Australian racing drivers.”

The appeal of HRX apparel is the short lead times as well as the vast amount of customisation amongst the brand’s product range.

Suitable for professional and club level racers alike, HRX also has a standard ‘off the shelf’ range which for competitors new to motor sport.

The extensive catalogue includes racing suits, gloves, fireproof underwear, shoes, as well as seats, harnesses and race team apparel.

Australian Prototype Series Category Manager, Liam Curkpatrick, was pleased with the newly formed partnership.

As part of their support for the 2018 Australian Prototype Series, HRX Australia will offer all APS series registered competitors a 20% discount on all HRX items.

The opening round of the 2018 Australian Prototype Series will be held at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia, on 13-15 April, with the first round of the 2018 Shannons Nationals.
