Morris Finance becomes latest Porsche partner

Morris Finance and Porsche Motorsport Australia have joined forces in 2021, with the national commercial finance and leasing company to be a sponsor in both the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia and Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge.

The agreement will see Morris Finance as the official naming rights partner for the Pro-am classes in both series with extensive branding to feature across all competing vehicles, garages, media backdrops and the podium at every round in 2021.

The deal sees Morris Finance add to its already growing collection of motorsport partners with Motorsport Australia, the Repco Supercars Championship outfit Walkinshaw Andretti United, The Bend Motorsport Park and drivers such as Nick Percat and Jaxon Evans.

It’s not the first time the two companies have worked together with Morris Finance having supported the Sports Person of the Year Award in previous years.

Porsche Motorsport Australia Head of Motorsport Troy Bundy was pleased to have Morris Finance throw its support behind the categories and the Pro-Am classes.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Morris Finance, which delivers value to them across numerous key partnership pillars including branding; digital and social media; events; promotions; hospitality; experiences and business development,” Bundy said.

“Morris Finance has been a strong supporter of both series, either in a category level or driver perspective, and it’s great to have them on board as our naming rights partner of the Pro-Am Championships of both categories.”

Morris Finance Marketing Manager, Tiffany Hunt was confident the partnership would be beneficial to both parties.

“As a proud Australian business operating on a national level, we take great pride in partnering with such a strong global brand and are delighted to be partnering with Porsche Motorsport Australia as the Official Finance Partner,” Hunt added.

“With this alliance, we are looking forward to creating unmatched experiences for our national broker, client, investor and referrer markets.”

The Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge season gets underway this weekend as part of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships’ opening round at Phillip Island.

Just one week later, the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia series run its first outing for the year as a support category to Supercars at Sandown on 19-21 March.
