It’s been just over a week since Harry Jones was crowned the winner of the 2019 Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia for which he secured a seat in the 2020 Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup as a reward. As a surging Aaron Love took out two races and the win during the final round at The Bend Motorsport Park in Adelaide, Jones secured the necessary points needed to take out the season after a number of top five finishes.
While Jones managed to take out the outright series, Sam Shahin was just as impressive in the Pro-AM class, storming home to a class victory after a turbulent start where he stalled the car.
Following the big finish to what had been an entertaining season, Emma Notarfrancesco caught up with the duo at their end of season award to discuss the titles.
