One of the biggest test days in Trans Am history is unfolding at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit today.
Series leader James Moffat is one of 12 Trans Am cars getting invaluable test laps at the Island circuit ahead of the second round of the national series at the same venue next month.
Moffat is joined at the test by GRM team-mate Edan Thornburrow and Owen Kelly, while Ben Grice will debut his new chassis after his huge Symmons Plains accident.
Also testing is John Holinger, Cody Gillis, debutant Elliott Cleary, Jay Robotham, Kyle Gurton, Josh Webster, Tyler Everingham and Brett Holdsworth.
The teams and drivers are logging miles ahead of the Phillip Island event, set to be held on 12-14 May.
The racing will be broadcast live and ad-break free on Stan Sport, plus free to air coverage on Saturday on 9GEM, 2-5pm.
