Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia have announced their plans for 2019, with six events locked in for the series next season.
The one-make feeder category will compete at five Shannons Nationals events next season, with their first Nationals event at Sydney Motorsport Park in May.
Porsche Cars Australia Motorsport Manager Troy Bundy said the category enjoyed success this season and expects 2019 to be another great year of racing.
“Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia certainly experienced its strongest year to date in 2018 and we look to replicate this success in 2019,” Bundy said.
“There is great interest from those looking to race in GT3 Cup Challenge next season and we expect to see a similar number of drivers and cars—if not more—on the grid in 2019.”
The series will begin its season at the Supercars event in Symmons Plains in April and will then head to New South Wales in May.
Drivers will then race at Phillip Island in June, before travelling north to Queensland Raceway in early August.
September will see the series race at Sandown before finishing their season at The Bend in November.
