Victorian Jaylyn Robotham will be a busy driver at the final round of the Shannons Nationals at Wakefield Park.
The 15-year-old is entered in the Circuit Excel Nationals and will also make his Australian Production Car Series debut alongside Grant Phillips.
The teenager said he was ecstatic about racing on the national stage.
“I am really excited about making my Australian production cars debut with Pedders Racing at Wakefield Park,” Robotham said.
“The team has been really supportive of my preparation and I am looking forward to having so much time on-track thanks to the APCS race format of two 300-kilometre races.
“It should be a great weekend and hopefully I can do a good job for the team.”
The youngster is fresh from winning the Amateur competition in the Aussie Driver Search last week, securing a $20,000 race budget for next year’s 86 series.
His passion has always been motor sport and racing full-time is definitely in his sights.
“Growing up I’ve always enjoyed enjoyed watching V8s and F1,” Robotham added.
“I’ve always had an interest when I was young and wanted to be a race car driver… my major goal is to be a V8 Supercar [Supercars Championship] driver.”
Both the Circuit Excel Nationals and the Australian Production Car Series coincide with the final round of the Shannons Nationals at Wakefield Park on 18-19 November.
