Sydney Motorsport Park will host the final round of the Shannons Nationals later this month with the Australian Prototype Series one of seven categories on show.
The Australian Prototype Series will be entering their fourth round for the year, with the fifth and final round to be held at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit in November.
Jason Makris currently leads the championship after claiming two consecutive round podiums, his best result coming in round two at Sandown where he took out both races to win the round.
After a disappointing weekend in Queensland, Mark Laucke and John Paul Drake remain in the top three ahead of Phillip Hughes, while a third-place finish in Queensland saw teenager Sage Murdoch jump into the top five.
Ahead of their battle in Sydney, Australian Prototype Championship competitors Makris and Murdoch gave their thoughts about racing on the New South Wales track.
