The fifth round of the Shannons SpeedSeries at Queensland Raceway is fast approaching, with six exciting national categories set to feature at the popular Ipswich circuit this month.
But while there will be three days of jam-packed action between the six categories, those in attendance will be treated to a plethora of on and off-track entertainment when the cars return to the pits between sessions.
For the first time this year, Matt Mingay and the Hot Wheels Stunt Team will wow spectators with an incredible display of hair raising stunts on four separate occasions on Saturday and Sunday.
The stunt team will first appear at 10:55am AEST on Saturday, while their last session will be before the National Trans Am Series race on Sunday afternoon.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at motorsporttickets.com.au.
Fans will also have a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with two of Australia’s best and most popular drivers in Jamie Whincup and Broc Feeney.
The Triple Eight Race Engineering duo will be available for an autograph signing session from 12:00pm AEST on Saturday 12 August for a short period of time and can be found by the podium, located in the designated fan zone.
Interested fans are encouraged to make their way towards the fan zone shortly before the autograph signing session begins to ensure nobody misses out on a fantastic opportunity to meet their racing heroes.
Although, this won’t be the only chance to get a glimpse of some of the best drivers Australia has to offer, with the ever-popular grid walk open to all spectators on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The first opening will be shortly before the lights go out for the first Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series race at 3:55pm AEST on Saturday, before the second occurs at 4:00pm before race three on Sunday.
Racegoers are also encouraged to make their way towards the Supercheap Auto Club House and Shannons Garage.
Located at the end of the main pitlane, the clubhouse will give fans the chance to sit back and take in the experience of an active pit lane while offering up a range of immersive experiences you are not going to want to miss out on.
While you’re there, it would be foolish to not check out the display car in the Shannons garage, a true pleasure for classic car enthusiasts.
