A stacked day of action on Saturday for the Shannons SpeedSeries at the LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Queensland.
During 12 hours of on-track action, five categories dealt with challenging conditions at various parts of the day and fans watched some exciting action.
Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge completed its third round by holding two races on Saturday, while GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia welcomed new race winners.
A streak continued in Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia and Radical Cup Australia opened its account.
GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS
Will Davison and Renee Gracie took their first victories in GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS at Queensland Raceway.
The OnlyFans Racing squad led the way from Oscar Targett and Justin Tigani sharing the Kollosche AMG by Tigani Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, while stablemates Brendan Leitch and Sergio Pires completed the podium for Geyer Valmont Racing.
Luke Youlden and Nathan Halstead won Trophy Class driving the AED Consulting by Tigani Porsche 911 GT3R.
Monochrome GT4 Australia
It was a thrilling end to the first Monochrome GT4 Australia night race held at Queensland Raceway.
Safety car interruptions were prevalent throughout, but it was a maiden Silver Cup victory for Daniel Frougas and Chris White in the GWR Australia Toyota Supra EVO 2.
Another Toyota won in Silver-Am, with local drivers Lachlan Evennett and Andrew Torti doing the job.
Nathan Callaghan and Chris Lillis continue to rack up the victories in Am Cup driving the Method Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS.
Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge
Lincoln Taylor fell just short of clean-sweep after dominating Saturday’s two races to conclude Round 3 of Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge at Queensland Raceway.
Taylor won the second race of the weekend ahead of New Zealander Hunter Robb, who scored victory in the first. Xavier Avramides completed the podium.
In the 40-minute endurance race, Taylor just edged out Kobi Williams for the victory, while Avramides was third once again.
Anthony Gilbertson led the way in the Am Class.
Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia
Josh Anderson was dominant in winning the Johnson Cup component of Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia.
Behind Anderson, series debutant Oli Wickham was superb in second as he led teammate Jack Perkins across the line.
Joe Fawcett led the Dark Horse Junior class in fourth, while John Goodacre did likewise in Dark Horse Legend.
Radical Cup Australia
The opening race for Radical Cup Australia was won by Chris Reindler and Bryce Moore.
After leading the way on Friday, the duo were dominant to take the win from Peter Paddon and Brad Russell.
