SRO Motorsports Australia is proud to welcome three new staff members to its growing family ahead of a big year for the organisation.
Joining SRO Motorsports Australia will be Tom Collings as Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Scott McGrath as Technical Manager, and Chloe Duke as SpeedSeries Television Coordinator and Team Relations Assistant.
Of the three, Collings enters on with a wealth of experience in digital marketing and esteemed brands within Australia’s large sporting industry.
Beginning his career working with Australian Canoeing, where he played a key role across multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as serving as an Australian correspondent for whitewater sports in Europe with Sportscene TV, Collings then moved to a team environment upon taking up a digital role with the Melbourne Vixens – a prominent outfit in the Super Netball League.
Collings changed sporting codes again three years later when he joined Australian Football League powerhouse team, the Geelong Cats, where he held the position of Head of Digital and Content.
During a seven-year period with the Cats, which included a premiership-winning campaign in 2022, Collings had the responsibility of overseeing the development and execution of digital and content strategies targeted at fostering stronger connections with existing fans and new audience growth, as well as overseeing social media, video production, graphic design and editorial, website and app development.
While Collings is new to both SRO Motorsports Australia and motorsport in general, McGrath is a familiar face to the organisation, having assisted SRO Motorsports Australia’s maiden year of running the Shannons SpeedSeries under Motorsport Australia.
McGrath was brought into the role due to his vast experience at Motorsport Australia of more than a decade, where he served in the technical space for most of the time, playing a key role in Motorsport Australia’s successful running of the Shannons SpeedSeries before SRO Motorsports Australia’s eventual takeover.
Prior to his time at Motorsport Australia, McGrath had been a mechanic for a large part of his working career, while also working in the motorsport industry building and developing cars.
In his new role as Technical Manager, McGrath will be responsible for overseeing all GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia technical matters.
Rounding out the trio of appointments is Duke, who is still towards the beginning of a promising career.

Duke joined SRO Motorsports Australia midway through 2025 as an associate producer for the Shannons SpeedSeries broadcast, making her an ideal candidate for the newly created Television Coordinator position.
In addition to her television duties, Duke will also assist Matleena Pukilla with the running of both GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia series following Pukilla’s appointment as Category Manager for both series.
SRO Motorsports Australia CEO Ben McMellan was pleased to welcome all three individuals.
“Following two successful years, we identified the need to fill some crucial spaces in the organisation as we look to expand in the coming years,” McMellan said.
“All three individuals will undoubtedly make great contributions to SRO Motorsports Australia, with Scott and Chloe already established figures within their fields.
“And although Tom doesn’t have a big background in motorsport, I believe he will be a fantastic match for SRO Motorsports Australia as he has more than a decade of experience in sports marketing and can bring fresh ideas to the table.”
SRO Motorsports Australia is also proud to confirm its new headquarters, having set up shop at a brand-new office space in Brandon Park, Victoria.
