This weekend, Shannons Signature Events welcomes the public to the Brisbane Showroom for the Shannons SpeedSeries Showcase on Saturday 24 May from 9am to 12pm.
This free event is an exclusive opportunity for motorsport fans to get up close and personal with some of the Shannons SpeedSeries’ most special race cars and personalities, as the countdown to Round 3 of the SpeedSeries at Queensland Raceway, May 30 – June 1, continues.
Headlining the showcase event will be Perth-based outfit, Arise Racing GT, who bring along their two Ferrari 296 GT3s, as well as the team transporter, proudly displayed within Shannons’ dynamic showroom space.
Attendees will be treated to live technical demonstrations from Arise Racing mechanics and engineers as they undertake preparations of the Ferraris for competition at Queensland Raceway.
Also to feature at the Showcase will be Shannons Athlete, Liam Talbot, who will be on hand to meet and greet fans.
The two-time and defending GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS champion will be proudly accompanied by his Volante Rosso Motorsport-prepared Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3.
Supporting this, Aston Martin Queensland will bring along a road-going version of Talbot’s Vantage, offering guests a unique opportunity to compare the two versions of the exotic nameplate.
Monochrome GT4 Australia will also be represented by a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT4s courtesy of Triple Eight Race Engineering and AR Nineteen Racing. Joining the AMGs will be a Ginetta G55 GT4 also part of Team Nineteen’s stable.
Completing the diverse lineup of display cars, Volante Rosso will display a Radical SR3 sportscar, contributing towards a balanced representation of the jaw-dropping race cars competing in the Shannons SpeedSeries in 2025.
Jola Ramsay, a Shannons SpeedSeries paddock identity, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Showcase, taking guests on a journey to explain the technical details of the demonstrations by Arise Racing.
The Showcase includes an onsite coffee van, making it the ideal destination to kick off any motoring enthusiasts’ weekend in the best possible fashion.
