The 2026 LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Darwin came to an exciting conclusion on Sunday as the Shannons SpeedSeries wrapped up a memorable first visit to Hidden Valley Raceway.
Championship battles intensified across four categories, breakthrough victories continued and local fans were treated to another full day of thrilling motorsport before the series heads to Sydney Motorsport Park in September.
GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS
Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher returned to the top step of the podium with a commanding victory in the final GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS race of the weekend.
The Kelso Electrical Team MPC Audi R8 LMS EVO II pairing overcame an action-packed opening stint before Schumacher charged to victory ahead of Ryan Wood and Steve Brooks, while Josh Buchan and Cameron Campbell secured their first podium finish of the season.
Luke Youlden and Paul Stokell claimed Trophy Class honours after leading every lap in class.
Monochrome GT4 Australia
Tom Hayman and Jett Murray strengthened their Silver Cup title charge by claiming a dominant third victory of the season in the final Monochrome GT4 Australia race of the weekend.
The Method Motorsport McLaren Artura GT4 pairing led from start to finish ahead of Blake Purdie and Jobe Stewart, while Jay Murray secured another podium finish in third.
Cody Burcher and Dean Campbell celebrated a successful return to the series with victory in Silver-Am, while Glenn Walker claimed his fourth Am Cup win of the season after another impressive drive.
Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia
Bryce Fullwood completed a perfect weekend in front of his home crowd after backing up Saturday’s victory with another commanding win in the final Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia race.
The Ryan McLeod Racing Cars driver once again proved untouchable to finish ahead of Josh Anderson and Brock Stinson, while Joe Fawcett and Oliver Wickham completed the top five.
The victory capped a dream debut weekend for the Northern Territory Supercars race winner.
Territory Tourers
The Territory Tourers wrapped up their weekend with two entertaining races, with local favourite Steve Johnstone proving the benchmark on Sunday.
Johnstone guided his VP Commodore to victory in both races, first finishing ahead of Geoff Cowie and Shane Smith before backing it up later in the day with another win over Smith and David Ling.
The pair of victories completed a dominant Sunday for the Territorian in front of his home crowd.
The Shannons SpeedSeries now turns its attention to the LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Sydney at Sydney Motorsport Park on 18–20 September, where GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia will continue their championship battles.
