Shannons Insurance proudly confirms the extension its long-standing association with the SpeedSeries, as Australia’s original insurance provider for motoring enthusiasts renews its naming-rights partnership with SRO Motorsports Group Australia’s flagship series for season 2026.
Shannons’ legacy as a major supporter and advocate for Australian motorsport has enabled and nurtured participation of competitors, teams and the wider community, with 2026 celebrating the 19th consecutive year of partnership between Shannons and the SpeedSeries.
Shannons’ naming-rights partnership of the SpeedSeries commenced in 2007, when it became the major backer of a groundbreaking national-level racing platform and the association has been unceasing through multiple iterations of the SpeedSeries in that time.
With SRO Motorsports Australia taking over the platform at the start of 2025, Shannons remained committed in supporting the series through its transformative season, and the partnership extension for 2026 underpins the enduring relationship between SRO Motorsports Group Australia and Shannons.
In addition to its role as the naming-rights partner, Shannons will once again be the Official Pit Lane Partner at 2026 GT Festivals – a prominent position it has held since 2023.
Shannons will also feature in key broadcast integrations, along with physical activations at GT Festivals nationally.
The Shannons SpeedSeries kicks off its 2026 season with the LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Phillip Island, hosted at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, 27–29 March.
