Schedule confirmed for Shannons SpeedSeries’ historic Darwin round

The schedule for the Shannons SpeedSeries’ historic visit to Darwin has been officially confirmed, with an exciting schedule setting the stage for the series’ first-ever round at the famous Hidden Valley Raceway.

The LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Darwin marks the fourth round of the season and the Shannons SpeedSeries debut in the Northern Territory, bringing the best GT cars in the country to the Top End, headlined by GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS.

Joining the premier Australian GT category will be Shannons SpeedSeries regulars Monochrome GT4 Australia and Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia, while the local Territory Tourers will also feature throughout the weekend – forming a four-category program across the weekend.

Kicking off on Friday in the middle of the day, all four categories will complete multiple practice sessions in preparation for the busiest day of the weekend on Saturday, which will consist of all qualifying and race sessions. The event wraps up with a quick-fire Sunday featuring five races across the weekend.

As always, fans will have unrivalled access with free public grid walks on both Saturday and Sunday – GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS will welcome fans ahead of each race and Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia will hold another on Sunday.

The majority of Saturday and Sunday’s action will be broadcast live and exclusively on FOX SPORTS Australia and Kayo Sports, while international fans will be able to tune into GT World Challenge Australia and Monochrome GT4 Australia’s qualifying and races via the GT World YouTube channel.

Fans wanting to attend can attend each day from 8am ACST, with tickets available to purchase here or at the gate.
