Just two weeks remain until the second round of the 2026 Shannons SpeedSeries season at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, with the launch of the official LIQUI MOLY GT Festival The Bend poster marking the start of the final countdown.
Set to take place at The Bend on 8–10 May, anticipation continues to build following a thrilling season opener at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in March, with the South Australian venue once again hosting a blockbuster line-up of categories.

Headlining the unchanged five-category event will be GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, while Monochrome GT4 Australia, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Australasia and the exciting one-make series, the Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia, all join Australia’s premier GT racing category.
Fans can expect a packed schedule across the three-day event, with almost 18 hours of on-track action set to unfold. Friday will host multiple practice sessions for all five categories, while Saturday and Sunday will feature qualifying and races across the board.
GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia will again follow their traditional format, with two qualifying sessions on Saturday morning before contesting races across both days.
Mustang Cup Australia and Ferrari Challenge will each run a qualifying session and race on both Saturday and Sunday, while Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia will complete its qualifying and opening race on Friday before returning for its final race on Sunday.
Off the track, fans will once again be at the centre of the experience, with the Fan Zone returning for 2026, offering entertainment and activities throughout the weekend.
Two public grid walks will also take place on Sunday, giving fans the opportunity to get up close to the cars and drivers, including GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia – with the one-make series doing it for the first time.
