The Shannons SpeedSeries will welcome the Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia for a full season again in 2027 after the growing category announced its provisional calendar.
Having made its official debut this year as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries, the one-make Mustang Dark Horse R series will run the first five rounds of its six-round calendar on the SRO Motorsports Australia platform, while its finale will be run on a different platform.
The alignment means it will visit four different states throughout the year and make its maiden appearance at the famous Mount Panorama in what will be a special Shannons SpeedSeries event.
In announcing its season schedule, Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia will join GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS and Monochrome GT4 Australia on all five rounds of the 2027 Shannons SpeedSeries calendar, with both categories previously announcing their calendars.
Further details about the 2027 Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia season will be announced in due course.
Three rounds remain in the 2026 Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia season, with the series travelling to the Northern Territory for the next round at Hidden Valley Raceway for LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Darwin on 24-26 July.
