Replay: carsales ARG eSport Cup

It was a chaotic opening round at Bathurst in the carsales ARG eSport Cup, but Trans Am racer Nathan Herne leads the cup standings after Round One.

The ARG Esports Cup will have an impressive field of 52 drivers lining up for the opening round of its 10-round virtual series, with Mount Panorama hosting the online season opener.

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic putting physical racing into a holding pattern, many categories are turning to Esports to get their racing fix.

Made up from drivers within Australian Racing Group’s stable of categories including the carsales TCR Australia Series, VHT S5000 Australia Championship and Trans Am, the series will help keep motorsport fans entertained while isolated at home.

Notable entries include three-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander, 2018 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia series winner Jaxon Evans and TCR Australia driver Chelsea Angelo, while special guest, carsales.com.au editor-in-chief, Mike Sinclair will be representing the media.
