The timetable for the 2026 Shannons SpeedSeries round at Queensland has been confirmed, with packed schedule and multiple activations to headline the third event of the season.
Featuring more than 15 hours of on-track action across the three-day event, five categories will make up the weekend’s program at Queensland Raceway, with four regular categories and a new face for year all featuring, while a special Super Sunday for fans will see of the event with a bang.
Returning to the Shannons SpeedSeries following a memorable visit to The Bend will be GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Monochrome GT4 Australia, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge and Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia, while First Focus Radical Cup Australia makes its first appearance for the year since September last year.
In what is a quick-fire weekend schedule, Friday will see all categories hit the track for their respective practice sessions, with Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge to hold both a qualifying and its opening race on Friday afternoon, making it the first category to race for the weekend.
As the remaining four categories then hold their first qualifying and first races of the weekend, the popular one-make Porsche series will wrap of its weekend with its final two races.
A major highlight of Saturday will be the Shannons SpeedSeries’ first night race of the year, with Monochrome GT4 Australia’s one-hour affair on Saturday to begin at 5pm local time and close out the day’s on-track action under the night sky.
Sunday will feature the final races of the weekend, however it is the multiple activations available to the public which will make for one of the most special days in Shannons SpeedSeries history.
Starting off with a joint GT World Challenge Australia and Monochrome GT4 Australia pit walk and autograph session in the morning forces, fans will be treated to multiple free public grid walks throughout the day, with both Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia and Monochrome GT4 Australia to welcome the fans on the grid.
The weekend concludes with GT World Challenge Australia Race 2, Monochrome GT4 Australia Race 2 and the final Radical Cup race on Sunday afternoon.
The 2026 Shannons SpeedSeries season continues with Queensland Raceway hosting the latest round on 12–14 June.
