The official countdown to the third round of the Shannons SpeedSeries has begun with the release of the GT Festival Queensland poster.
Taking place at Queensland Raceway at the end of May, the majority of categories from the opening two rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park and Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will be back, while a new series joining the bill for the first time this year.
Making their return to the Shannons SpeedSeries will be GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Monochrome GT4 Australia, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia and First Focus Radical Cup Australia all returning, while the National Sports Sedans Series will be a welcome addition in what is its second round of the 2025 season.
The event gets underway on Friday with Practice and Pre-Qualifying sessions for all five categories, while Qualifying and the first set of races take place on Saturday before the event continues on Sunday the remaining races.
In total, the weekend will feature 13 races and seven qualifying sessions. All sessions will be broadcast live on 7plus for Australian viewers, with the selected races on both Saturday and Sunday also airing on free-to-air TV.
International viewers can catch all GT World Challenge Australia and Monochrome GT4 Australia sessions on the GT World YouTube channel.
For those attending in person, Friday is free, there is park & view available, free paddock access and a grid walk are some of the major highlights, giving fans the opportunity to meet drivers and teams and see the cars up close.
Entry on Friday is free for everyone, while fans aged 15 and under can attend all weekend for free.
Ticket prices start at $35 for a daily pass, $60 for a weekend pass, and corporate hospitality packages are available from $335 per person.
