Like the 2018 season opener, there was a lot of drama to play out at the Shannons Nationals’ visit to The Bend Motorsport Park earlier this month.
From thrills, spills and championship crowns, the third round of the 2019 Shannons Nationals was quite the spectacle for those in attendance at Australia’s newest world class race track.
After first competing in championship in 2015, Luis Leeds was finally crowned champion of the CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship, winning the title in the first round of the category’s weekend double header.
With the carsales TCR Australia Series and the CAMS Australian Endurance Championship also providing fans with much to cheer about, the weekend was a memorable one.
For those that missed the livestream or broadcast on SBS, speedseries.com.au has a quick highlights package on hand to keep you updated from the round that was.
